Under the guidance of the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the "Happy Chinese New Year" China Shanghai International Arts Festival Online Performance, hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and organized by the China Shanghai International Arts Festival Center, opened online on January 31. The online programs lasting from New Year's Eve to the Lantern Festival include contemporary and classical dances, musical concerts, an acrobatic show, exhibitions and a documentary that showcases Shanghai's cultural heritage. They will be presented to global audiences in 6 languages including Chinese, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, showing original Chinese stage arts in many ways. 

　　The online programs brought together classic performances such as Butterfly Lovers, Madam White Snake and Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi. Young violinist Lin Ruifeng performed classic pieces with violin. Young folk music players played popular music with traditional Chinese instruments. Dancers and young students at home and abroad also presented performances online one by one, enabling audiences around the world to further feel the charm of Chinese culture.
