Magnificent Mountains and Rivers-NAMOC Exhibition of Mountains and Rivers-themed Collections opened a few days ago. The exhibition, themed Magnificent Mountains and Rivers, showed over 130 works by famous artists collected by NAMOC. 

　　"The rivers and mountains in art works present not only the physical existence of rivers and mountains, but also the soul of the people! "Wu Weishan, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Director of the National Art Museum of China, and Vice-chairman of the China Artists Association, said, "The meaning of rivers and mountains in Chinese culture not only refer to landscapes or the great structure of nature, but also people's reconstruction of nature, and it is also the people themselves."

　　The exhibition is divided into 5 chapters: the first chapter showcases the classic works of modern masters on landscapes; the second chapter presents social changes in New China, reflecting the new era and new life; the third chapter shows the vitality of New China; the fourth chapter depicts the poetic beauty of historical and cultural landscapes; the fifth chapter shows the magnificent natural scenery in China.

　　The exhibition is presented in Halls 13 to 17 on the third floor of the National Art Museum of China, and will last until March 23 (closed on Monday).
