On April 13, the first executive meeting of Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies Joint Graduate School was held in Qufu, Shandong Province, aiming to promote the coordinated development of the Joint Graduate School and make the explorations of a new mode of cultivating Confucian talents in the new era.

The executive meeting included the reports, delivered by Party School of the Central Committee of CPC of the joint universities, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Fudan University and Wuhan University, on the enrollment plan for Confucian special doctoral students issued by the Ministry of Education, and deliberated and adopted the Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies Joint Graduate School Charter. And the meeting established the work coordination mechanism and discussed the work plan for doctoral students from the Joint Graduate School to gather in Shandong to carry out cultural experience classes.

The first executive meeting of Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies Joint Graduate School means that the work of promoting high-level Confucian talents for the country to carry forward excellent traditional Chinese culture is officially launched.

Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies Joint Graduate School is a new type of graduate school supported by the state. Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies cooperates with 10 first-class universities in China to carry out graduate education in a shared way, cultivate high-level Confucian talents, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture.

At present, the enrollment work of Nishan World Center for Confusion Studies Joint Graduate School has achieved initial success, and the enrollment plan of the first batch of 100 doctoral students jointly trained has been assigned by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. This year, freshmen will have a two-week activity of "100 PhDs, Studying Qilu" after registering for school, and deeply feel the beauty of Qilu culture and excellent traditional Chinese culture.
