The Silk Road Intangible Cultural Heritage Instrumental Music Exhibition opened in Xi'an on October 16th, with the theme of "the Beauty of Harmony in Ancient Heritage", showcasing instrumental music along the Silk Road and the value of traditional Chinese culture and art.
This exhibition is an important partof the 9th Silk Road International Art Festival. In addition to the exhibition of Qin Opera Banhu, Nepal Fagu, Thai xylophone and other musical instruments, performers of Xi'an Drum Music, Northern Shaanxi Storytelling and Bianzhong performers in Tang costumes also performed on the scene and interacted with citizens and tourists. In addition, the organizer has set up a check-in area for visitors to gather stamps featuring traditional instruments such as the "pipa", "konghou", "dongbula", and "lyre".
It is reported that the exhibition will continue until November 15th and is open to citizens and tourists for free.
