On March 5, the Hangzhou Nine-wall Light Show and the Drum Tower Song-style Light Show were staged at the Drum Tower Square in Qinghefang District of Hangzhou.

　　Hangzhou Nine-wall Light Show takes the seasonal changes of spring, summer, autumn and winter as the time line, focuses on the modernization of Hangzhou since reform and opening up and shows to the world the Song-style culture and Hangzhou stories by combining urban art exhibition and the dynamic light and shadows. 

　　The Drum Tower Song-style Light Show uses the Hangzhou Drum Tower as a "curtain". Guided by the "Royal Cat", the citizens started a journey along the "Maritime Silk Road" through ancient and modern times together with Hangzhou Asian Games mascots "Cong Cong", "Lian Lian" and "Chen Chen". It conveys Hangzhou's feature of "softness and elegance", and showcases the spiritual characteristics of "openness, tolerance, coordination, and development" that have been passed down for thousands of years since it functioned as capital of the Southern Song Dynasty.
