On October 10th, the "Second Yellow River Grotto TemplesDigital Seminar and the 20th Digital Yungang Anniversary Symposium" was held in Datong.

At the seminar, more than 20 cultural and museum institutions, including Dunhuang Research Institute, Longmen Grottoes Research Institute, Dazu Rock Carvings Research Institute, and more than 180 experts and scholars from more than 30 scientific research institutions, including Peking University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, and Beijing Jianzhu University, jointly discussed the digital construction, activation and utilization of grotto temple cultural relics, and shared the academic trends and latest scientific research achievements in the field of digital cultural relics research, to promote the better activation and utilization of digital intelligence data for cultural heritage.

During the conference, the "Great River Pearl - Yellow River Grotto TemplesProtection Achievement Exhibition" was held at the Yungang Research Institute. The exhibition aims to showcase the effectiveness of the protection and utilization of the Yellow River cultural grotto temples, thereby providing exemplary experience for the protection of grotto temples and improving the level of protection, management, and display and utilization of grotto temples in the new era.
