The academic seminar on "Wang Anshi's Confucian Classics and China’s Ideologyfrom the 10th to 13th Century" opened on October 21st in Linchuan District, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province.

During the two-day seminar, the participating experts and scholars focused on four topics: "Classics Studies: Wang Anshi's Analysis of the Confucian Classicsand Theoretic Exploration", "New Learning: The Resonance of the Influence of Wang Anshi's ConfucianThoughtsin the Song and Yuan Dynasties", "Thought: Wang Anshi's Speculative Ideas vs.Song Dynasty Philosophy", and "Governance: Wang Anshi's Ideasand Practice of Governance", engaging in borrowing ideas and comparing notes with each other, and explaining the essence of Wang Anshi's Confucian thought of "practical applicationin the daily world", in order to further the research, dissemination, inheritance, and innovation of Wang Anshi’s philosophy.

It is reported that this is another high-level academic event themed around the study ofWang Anshisince the 2021 academic seminar commemorating the 1000th anniversary of Wang Anshi's birth, which has promoted the study of Wang Anshi and his thoughts to a wider public attention.
